I had woken up pretty late the morning my mum told me what happened. I didn't break into tears right away, but it happened midway eating breakfast.

Michael Jackson was one of my favourite singers as I'm sure is the case for most. Seeing as how I'm secretly 32, I grew up on his music and his death is really a tragic loss.

To me, Michael Jackson was one of those people who had a passion for his work. I can only hope to emulate that zest in my own career.
There will never be another Michael Jackson, but he will live on through his music which will continue to inspire generations to come.

It is sad, but the gifted die young.

Michael, you are one of the greats and will be terribly missed.
